This is an improvement over his remarks last year:
“The oceans may rise, over the next 300 years, 1/100th of an inch.”

It doesn’t seem like an improvement, but he’s at least not mentioning the 1/100 inch line any more. Incidentally, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) concluded in the 2022 Sea Level Rise Technical Report that “sea level along the U.S. coastline is projected to rise, on average, 10 – 12 inches (0.25 – 0.30 meters) in the next 30 years (2020 – 2050).”
