Trump’s businesses continue to profit from his office, even after losing the election. Despite his insistence that he didn’t need any outside funding to secure the Office of the President, Trump contributed NOTHING to his reelection campaign.

An estimated $2.8 million of donor money made its way to the Trump Organization through various businesses, including nearly $500,000 after he lost the election. Add to the tally another $2.3 million of donor money that was funneled into various Trump businesses from a joint fundraising committee that collects money in partnership with the Republican Party. And don’t forget another $2.4 million from the Republican National Committee.

Since we’re tallying numbers, we should also mention that after Trump lost the popular vote for a second time, after the baseless election fraud lies and ham-fisted attempts to overturn legitimate election results, Trump raised $76 million dollars to further challenge the election loss and win two Senate runoffs in Georgia — but he has yet to spend a dime on either purpose.

Trump turned the election loss into another grift, bombarding his mailing list with dozens of emails and text messages panhandling for more donations.

“Dem Elites are funneling MILLIONS into Georgia to RIP AWAY the Senate. Pres Trump needs YOU to step up.”
